Mies Family

The Mies family has a long history in Livingston County, starting in Saunemin, and then spreading to many places including Fairbury.

Henry Mies took a panoramic photo in 1930 at the Spence farm south of Fairbury of the many descendants who attended the 100th anniversary of the Darnalls being the 1st settlers in Livingston County. He also photographed some of the key landmarks of Franklin Oliver in Chatsworth.
